National Sanitation Coordinators Strategic Meeting with the National HOD
In a strategic move towards operational excellence and global best practices, the Sanitation Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) convened a high-level meeting during the May Holy Ghost Service 2026, bringing together National and Provincial Sanitation Coordinators across the nation.
The meeting was presided over by the esteemed National Head of Department (HOD), Pastor Tunde Abdullai, who delivered a powerful address focused on transformation, accountability, and excellence within the sanitation arm of the church.
Commendation for Commitment and Service
In his opening remarks, Pastor Abdullai expressed deep appreciation to all Provincial Coordinators and National Executives for their unwavering dedication and consistent efforts in maintaining high sanitation standards across RCCG programs and environments.
He commended the team for their resilience, discipline, and service to God, noting that sanitation remains a critical pillar in sustaining a conducive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere for worshippers.
Call for Greater Commitment Ahead of the 2026 Convention
Looking ahead to the forthcoming RCCG Annual Convention 2026, the National HOD charged all coordinators to intensify their efforts and raise the bar of performance. He emphasized that the upcoming convention must reflect a new level of excellence, organization, and professionalism in sanitation management.
According to him, “The task before us requires renewed dedication, proactive planning, and a mindset of excellence. We must go beyond routine service and deliver world-class sanitation systems.”
Digital Transformation and Accountability Framework
A major highlight of the meeting was the announcement of the full digitalization of sanitation operations within RCCG.
Pastor Abdullai revealed that:
All sanitation personnel activities will now be monitored through a digital system
Attendance, punctuality, and participation will be tracked via online registration platforms
Cases of lateness or absenteeism will be automatically recorded and addressed
This development marks a significant step toward transparency, accountability, and efficiency, aligning RCCG sanitation operations with global standards.
Zero Tolerance for Mediocrity – Excellence as the New Standard
The National HOD made it clear that the department is entering a new era where mediocrity will no longer be tolerated.
He declared:
“Excellence is now our watchword. Every sanitation unit must function with precision, discipline, and measurable impact.”
To achieve this, all units were mandated to:
Develop and execute impactful sanitation projects
Demonstrate visible progress ahead of the Convention
Maintain strict compliance with operational guidelines
Provincial Capacity Building Initiatives
As part of the preparation strategy, all Provincial Coordinators were instructed to organize Provincial Sanitation Seminars.
These seminars will:
Equip members with modern sanitation practices
Reinforce discipline and teamwork
Prepare all personnel for effective service delivery during the Convention
Upcoming Online Engagements
In further strengthening coordination and communication, the National HOD also announced plans for:
Online prayer sessions
Virtual coordination meetings
