The Blue Beret Evangelism was carried out by Region 19 Sanitation Team on Saturday 15th March 2025 hosted by the Amazing Grace Zone of Lp27.
Venue- Adenle Street, Oke Ayo Bus Stop, Agege.
Time- 8am to 11.30am.
The sick were payed for and to the glory of God majority of the people were happy to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
We have 49 Converts who gave their lives to Christ. Their names, addresses and phone numbers has been submitted to Amazing Grace Parish, 91, Ipaja Road, Oke Koto, Agege (which is the Parish close to the venue)to continue to follow up on the Converts while we will also follow up on phone by the grace of God.
We divided ourselves into 2 Groups.
While some of us were cleaning the Street, others were going from door to door to propagate the Gospel, telling them about the Love of God to mankind and the need for them to surrender their lives to Christ in order to have eternal life in Heaven instead of Hell.
Adenle Street is a long and densely populated community with a mixed population of mostly Yoruba Population with some Igbos and some Hausa residents.
In the Community we have Muslims, Christians and those who do not belong to any Faith. It is also a community with a mixture of middle class and low class members of the Society. Among the low class community are also many residents with drug addiction issues both male and female, old and young. Even few Elders. It is a community that needs the Light of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Programme started with intercessory Prayers by 7am at the Amazing Grace Parish (Zonal HQ) in Lp27.
By 8am, we took off with Tracts and Palliatives for the elderly ones in the community.
