The RCCG Altar of Praise Parish, Ikorodu, in collaboration with like-minded lovers of peace in the Agbele community, successfully organized the second edition of the Agbele Community Fitness Walk 2025. This impactful initiative continues to grow as a beacon of unity and wellness within the community.
The fitness walk is more than just a health-focused event; it serves as a platform for promoting physical well-being through aerobic exercise, fostering community unity, and strengthening the relationship between the church and the wider Agbele community. It also aligns with the broader Vision 2032 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), making strides toward realizing its goals at the grassroots level and winning 40 million souls to God.
This year’s edition was particularly significant as it coincided with the celebration of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day, bringing an added layer of patriotic pride to the event. Residents turned out in large numbers, demonstrating a strong sense of community spirit and shared purpose.
