Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness
In a powerful demonstration of commitment to community service, the RCCG National Sanitation Team recently took active steps to promote cleanliness and environmental care at the RCCG Light Up Lagos event held at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos.
Under the guiding principle that “cleanliness is next to godliness,” the team engaged volunteers to participate in a comprehensive sanitation exercise, ensuring the venue was not only visually appealing but also hygienic for all attendees. The initiative aimed to inspire the community to value cleanliness and adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Participants worked diligently throughout the day, picking up litter, organizing waste disposal, and creating awareness on the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Their efforts highlighted the vital role of cleanliness in enhancing public health and community pride.
The RCCG National Sanitation Team’s dedication to creating a cleaner, healthier environment resonated deeply with the attendees, fostering a sense of responsibility and unity among the community. As the event concluded, the team celebrated not just the success of the sanitation campaign, but also the collective commitment to keeping Lagos clean, embodying their belief that a clean environment reflects a healthy society.

The RCCG continues to lead by example, showing that community service and environmental stewardship go hand in hand in building a brighter future for all.
